Privacy Policy
This policy explains what Women Workout: Home Fitness does with your information. The short version: the app stores your workout data on your own device and does not upload it. The only data that leaves your phone is what Google's advertising service collects in order to show ads, and you control that through the consent choices the app presents.
Who we are
Women Workout: Home Fitness is published by Zoopet. You can reach us at contact@zoopet.in about anything in this policy.
Information stored on your device
The app keeps the following on your phone or tablet, in its own private storage. None of it is sent to us or to anyone else.
- Completed workouts, dates, durations and estimated calories.
- Weight entries you log, and the height you enter for the BMI calculator.
- Your year of birth and gender, if you enter them in your profile.
- Reminders you create, including the days and times you chose.
- Preferences: weekly goal, first day of the week, units, sound and voice settings.
Uninstalling the app deletes all of it. There is no cloud backup and no way for us to recover it, so if that data matters to you, note it down before uninstalling.
No account, no sign-up
The app has no login. We never ask for your name, email address, phone number or any social account, and there is no user profile on any server.
Advertising
The app is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may collect and process:
| Data | Why |
|---|---|
| Advertising ID (a resettable identifier) | To select ads and limit how often you see the same one |
| Approximate location, derived from your IP address | To serve ads appropriate to your country or region. The app itself never requests GPS or precise location permission. |
| Device and app information (device model, OS version, app version, language) | To render ads correctly and detect invalid traffic |
| Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks) | To measure ad performance |
Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy & Terms and the Google Ads Data Processing Terms.
Where the law requires it (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the app shows you a consent form from Google's User Messaging Platform before any personalised ad is requested. Your choice is respected: if you decline, ads are limited to non-personalised ones. You can reopen those choices at any time from the Mine tab in the app, where an ad privacy option appears if it applies in your region.
You can also reset or delete your advertising ID from your device settings, under Settings → Privacy → Ads on most Android versions.
Permissions the app asks for
| Permission | Why it is needed |
|---|---|
| Internet, Network state | To load ads. Every workout, animation and plan is stored inside the app, so the app itself works with no connection. |
| Notifications | To deliver the workout reminders you set. Asked for only when you open the reminder screen. Declining it does not affect any other feature. |
| Run at startup | So reminders you have already set survive a device restart. Only used when you have at least one active reminder. |
| Advertising ID | Required by Google AdMob, as described above. |
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, precise location, calendar, call logs or SMS, and does not read any health or fitness data from other apps.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, write to us and we will help.
Your rights
Because the app holds no personal data on any server, there is no account for us to export or erase. You are in direct control: clearing the app's data or uninstalling it removes everything the app stored. For the advertising data Google processes, you can exercise your rights through Google's own privacy controls, and you can withdraw or change your consent in the app at any time.
If you are in the EEA or UK, the legal basis for processing advertising data is your consent, which you give or refuse through the consent form. Elsewhere, it is our legitimate interest in funding a no-cost app, subject to the choices your local law provides.
Health information
The app provides general fitness workouts and a BMI figure for reference. It is not medical advice, it does not diagnose, treat or cure any condition, and it is not a medical device. Consult a doctor before starting any exercise programme. See the app's listing for the full health notice.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will appear on this page with a new date at the top. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
